If you construct, renovate, or maintain a golf course, Luck Specialty Products has the foundational materials for you.
All our products are sieve tested religiously for consistency in offering, and all of our golf sands materials have been tested at numerous A2LA labs throughout the country and world.
For root zone sand we primarily blend Dakota Peat with our base USGA specified sand. Our normal rate of blending is 10% by volume creating a solid 90/10 blend for root zone construction or topdressing. Dakota Peat is a reed sedge peat that has shown deeper levels of composting, resulting in higher levels of organic matter per cubic yard. Other percentages are available to blend with proper time given for production.
Our Alpha Premium sand is our USGA specified sand. Alpha Premium is widely used as a solid greens topdressing material throughout the state. Our Alpha Utility is material that does not hit the USGA spec 100% of the time, but is very close. For tee box construction or fairway topdressing, this is an economical choice for many superintendents.
Our Willis Mountain Bunker sand does meet the USGA specification, and is very white in appearance. There is no gravel in Willis Mountain bunker sand, meaning play out of bunkers will not be exceptionally hard on mowing equipment.
Delivery of our golf sands materials is handled by a trucking company that has extensive experience hauling to golf courses. This is a vital component to providing a first class buying experience for you, the customer. Delicate delivery schedules, and accurate placement are a must at all sites, and we have partnered with a company that provides this benefit to you.
